Updated: Sep 23, 2022

Every living creature of this World has a heart, and materialism entices the heart toward righteousness and evils. It depends on the appeals of a person and what His (or Her) views about Self and others. It is the heart that makes a Man a Human, but what aspects of Humankind are responsible for provoking them to be lost in the World of their beliefs and greediness and can push a core to evolve decent or brutal? Let's discover! This blog will introduce you to the 7 Quranic Verses regarding the dispositions of a Human's heart.

1. Al-Baqarah 2:74

Misguided

Anxiety, Depression

Have you seen 'O Prophet' those who have taken their own desires as their god? ˹And so˺ Allah left them to stray knowingly, sealed their hearing and hearts, and placed a cover on their sight. Who then can guide them after Allah? Will you 'all' not then be mindful?

4. Ghafir 40:35

Stress, Anger

those who dispute Allah’s signs with no proof given to them. How despicable is that for Allah and the believers! This is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.

5. Al-Anfal 8:24

Childbirth, Born

O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered.

6. Al-Imran 3:8

Path, Guided

'They say,' “Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after you have guided us. Grant us Your mercy. You are indeed the Giver 'of all bounties.'

7. Al-Fatihah 1:6-7

Hope, White

Guide us along the Straight Path, the Path of those You have blessed - not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray.

Verily, the hearts of the children of Adam (PBUH) are between the two fingers of the Merciful as one heart. He directs them wherever He wills. O Allah (SWT), the Director of the hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience. Sahih Muslim 2655
